Who Needs Football, When You Have Futbol?

There's plenty of debate, and one that we'll likely labor on longer here if you give us time, as to whether High Point University needs to revive it's football program. But in the meantime, who needs it... We've got futbol!

Last night, at HPU, it was a top 25 match-up on the pitch. Ranked 12th in the latest rankings (our highest ever has been 11th in 24'), we hosted the Thundering Herd from Marshall who were ranked as high as 2nd this season, but dropped to 10th before the game last night.

Crowd seemed to be vibrant. Said to be as many as 2k in attendance. We were up early. We were down late.

The 2-2 draw, that took a goal by HPU's Mo Guettel in the 87th minute was what it was -- two talented Top 25 foes slugging it out.

But it still delivered!

Delivered, about as nice as Jefferson Amaya's ball into the box late, was this gem....
