Turkey In A Shopping Cart. It's NOT What You Think

Listen, I thought we were DONE with turkeys for a while. We just survived Thanksgiving ― last week! BAM: Lexington, NC says, “Actually bro, we’re running it back.”

Because ONLY in Lexington will you walk into a Lowe’s on a random November afternoon and see a dude casually pushing a live, full-sized turkey through the store in a shopping cart.

Man’s just rolling it between the lightbulbs and the chainsaws like he’s deciding whether his bird needs a new DeWalt drill set.

We just finished the national holiday built around turkeys… and Lexington said,“Nah nah nah, run it back. Put that gobbler in the cart, Earl. We’re goin’ to Lowe’s for Black Friday shopping.”

And the turkey wasn’t even panicking. That bird was CHILL. Thanksgiving is over, retirement has begun, and now it’s choosing backsplash tile.

Maybe if you’re from Lexington, NC, you know the rules: If it fits in the cart, mind your business.

Last week we were watching the Macy’s parade, eating sweet potato casserole, debating whether the Panthers should be legally required to take a year off football. This week? Forget all that. Here’s a turkey at Lowe’s.

So cheers to Lexington, NC. We can’t wait to see what you bring to Lowe’s next week. A goat? A llama? Your cousin Eddie? Whatever it is…Lexington will NEVER disappoint.
