A Black Panther In The Wild
A Black Panther In The Wild

Thanks to one of our faithful followers, William, we have proof that Black Panthers are loose in the Appalachians! People've always said that it's not official till it's posted on Facebook, and now here it is.

As it's been mentioned numerous times by Steven, on the Prowled Panthers Podcast, HPU could step up it's mascot game.

Here's the suggestion to AD Dan Hauser.

Here's the idea of capturing a domesticated Black cat.

Besides, there's Pudge the Cat, Smokey in Tennessee, Uga in Georgia, War Eagle VIII at Auburn, Ralphie VII the Buffalo in Colorado, and more.

All we need to do is head West and be on the lookout. You can call it AI or a photo taken at the Asheboro Zoo, if you want. But we choose to still believe.

So, next time you're hiking through the holler and hear a twig snap... Be ready to catch a Panther for High Point.
