Celebrating Turning 90

IF I am able to reach the old age of 90 years, that alone would be a great gift. Some people may look at that goal and take it to new heights. Literally.
Recently, High Point native Ron Paschal had a birthday. He turned 90 years young. To celebrate, he decided to jump out of a plane.
According to the HPE, Ron left his residence at Pennybyrn and drove to Salisbury to complete the tandem sky dive jump. For those wondering, that jump was made from approximately 12,500 feet off the ground. And it did have to be cleared by his doctor, with a written note, first.
My observations from this:
Ron knew better than to tell his family that he was going to be sky diving before he took the jump.
It actually wasn't his first time. He had done the same celebration when he turned 80.
I would think a good birthday at that age would be nine holes of golf, lunch at my favorite restaurant, some cake and ice cream with family, and in bed with my dog by 9pm. All of that can happen with both my feet on the ground.
Ron, clearly, thinks that's boring. He's still looking to go bigger and told fellow jumpers,
"I'll see you out here in another 10 years."
