Bigfoot In NC?!?

Autumn in the Piedmont brings crisp air, rustling leaves… and the hopeful shuffling of scanning the woods for a certain legendary resident with bad photo skills.
Yes, the hunters of the shaggy one are at it again: how many times has Bigfoot been “spotted” in the Triad?
According to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, there have been 109 reported Bigfoot sightings in North Carolina. That’s right—over a hundred chances to capture the elusive footprint, hear the low grunt, or glimpse the fur through the underbrush. Yet, as of now, the only thing consistently captured is.... nothing.
In carpeted offices they don’t pay overtime for stake-outs, so these weekend warriors are logging volunteer hours in deep woods, suspicious glances at every rustling bush. And yet the myth marches on.
For now, our trackers across Guilford wait for the moment when “that sound” becomes “the sighting” and the blurry blob becomes “there he is.”
So if you hear a snap behind the pines, don’t assume it’s just your neighbor’s kid. It might be Bigfoot — or at least someone who hopes it is. And that’s the thrill: the eternal half-glance through the lens at dusk, the recorded growl that might be nothing more than the wind… but could be legendary.
Until next rustle in the underbrush—keep your boots muddy and your folded map handy. Bigfoot might be coming to a tree-line near you.
