A 29 Cent Pound Turkey

Tis the season.. I guess.

Shots rang out at a Food Lion in High Point, and when the chaos settled it makes you wonder if this story is really supposed to be something out of Florida. There will be a lot of satire here, but what is becoming more clear is how sad it is in today's times -- Where a simple disagreement boils over to guns and shootings.

Why should we try and describe what happened, when we have the BEST source to hear it from!

With Thanksgiving less than two weeks away, it's less surprising that Turkey was involved. But are we serious here?!?!

Turkey is a dry meat. It's really not that good. And if it is a necessity for your upcoming celebration, there remains time. It's not like the big day is tomorrow.

I guess it's kudos to the guy that attempted to step in on behalf of our "29 cent lady". But it sounds like both parties involved in this disagreement needed some of that tryptophan to cool it down. And all I'm picturing is 'Barney Fife' type stuff, with no one able to get their gun actually pulled out.

The only real win from this whole episode...
