2 Fast, NC Furious

Back in my heyday, the Fast and Furious movie series was legit. It heavily persuaded me on the choice of my first car.

I could have had a truck. My parents said I could have an SUV.

Instead, I chose a Honda Civic. Made the option to add a spoiler and moonroof visor. Had plans to put racing seats in it.

I'm sure you know what I'm "driving" at, here. It's likely if you're traveling around any-small-town near you, and you pass by the local Cook Out, you'll see a group of high schoolers loitering with souped up cars.

An NC city is saying, Nay Nay.

The car you can have. The souping of the exhaust system, you can not.

Since July, ironically the month of LOUD noise, Raleigh has busted 50 folks with punishments for loud mufflers. The report even says they completed a "saturation patrol" to mitigate this activity.

I would be lying if I didn't say, the loud exhaust system seems like someone crying out for attention. But it's easy to also see where this is headed...

Last was Fast X. Next will be Fast and Furious 11: Making Noise In The Capital City.
